Snewz is a new way to browse or create reports of news events in your area. All content is added and rated by other users meaning that you get the news first!
View stories as a list or in map view. You can even swipe through stories and then view them on the map once you've found a report that interests you.
Find news being reported anywhere in the world and share stories on your existing Facebook and Twitter social media accounts.
Report news events happening where you are now. Simply download the app and press the plus button at the top of the screen. It really is simple. Take a picture, add some text and a location to tell others about what's happening; then hit upload!
All reports delete automatically after 1 week so you only get the latest news.
What we aren't interested in:
Anything graphic which might be disturbing or disrespectful. Whilst we want you to share the news with us, we don't want anything which is voyeuristic or upsetting. If the video or video you have involves close up shots of people who've died in tragic circumstances or people being stabbed or shot etc, we would have to ask you not to share it. We want Snewz to be a respectable social news outlet, not somewhere to see gory videos.

Anything that you might see on the main news pages: Fires, Public order incidents, protests and political gatherings.
